There are currently 3 main method of travelling from London to Paris as follow:
1) EuroStar operate a frequent train services from London Waterloo to Paris... The train journey take approximately 2hours 30minutes and the cost is approximately GBP70 per way... 3) Flying is the final option of travelling from London to Paris with British Airways/Air France/BMI operating regular flights from London City/Gatwick/Heathrow to Paris CDG/Orly with a flight time of approximately 1hour... Personally I would only suggest you to use either EuroStar or Eurolines as traveling to and from Airport is a bit of a hassel as well... While both EuroStar and Eurolines operate from central London, its definately a better option to flying... And since both EuroStar/Eurolines provide discount single ticket, I would suggest you to take both, 1 way coach and other by EuroStar to have a taste of the Channel Tunnel... Of course that is only if its within your budjet, otherwise return by coach with discount fare really is not bad either...
Please be adviced that for promotional fare, you will need to book a while in advance in order to get the cheapest cost on either EuroStar/Eurolines...
