My daughter is planning to study at UK school. We heard about Concord College, Queenswood school & Cheltenham Ladies' College from agents. By comparing all factors (including opportunity to enter good UK university, fees, reputation, etc..) which is better?

She is going to study Sixth Form. Besides those mentioned, I believe an all=round environment including school ethos, reputation, teachers' quality, school & peers support are aslo cruisal tome in making right choice.

I am an Ex-student of Concord College (CC for simplicity) and now studying in University of Warwick. CC is a place where the environment and teachers would force every student to do their best. The accomadation is relatively new and if your daughter is entering in the sixth form she does not need to share a room. The school also imposed strict rules that boys are not allowed to get anywhere near the girl's boarding house so I presume that it is a very safe place. The opportunity to enter good UK University is great. The year I graduate d we ranked 14th in the high school table. Every year there are around 10 people (out of around 60-70) entering one of Oxford or Cambridge. Fees are around 6000+ GBP when I've entered probably a slight difference today. The reputation has always been good. Every saturday students are required to take tests from the knowledge they learnt in the week while every night there are 2 hours of prep time which the student is forced to study under a quiet environment. Not sure about the other 2 schools but hope this information helps.

Of course Cheltenham Ladies' College is GOOD! I am actually an ex-student there~~~
the teaching quality is high and the facilities there are excellent!!!!!! =)The reputation is good and most CLC girls have excellent soft/ social skills to learn from. I guess CLC actually has a representative office at IFC II in HK, maybe you can try contacting the school register about this.

I also have friends from Concord College and comparatively, I guess the people there are more friendly and easy-going ---- so scoring higher for peer support. Clc is not bad on this but I would say it's a comparative conclusion.
I am not too sure about Queenswood school.... but actually you can try go to Academic Asia, the agents are pretty professional and knowledage about boarding schools in the UK.

hope you'll enjoy your time in the UK study.

Since all three are good schools in UK, it is down to what are your priorities in education for your daughter and what SHE likes.

Private boarding school does not guarantee a better Uni entry opportunity. So find out if school provides support in students' emotional as well as academic needs. If you can, visit the schools before deciding. Give your daughter an idea what she is in for.

Ask yourself these questions to see what is most important:
1) School / class size
2) Accessibility / Transportation
3) Foreign students: local students ratio?
4) Sports / music / drama facilities?
