XXX The sentence itself is correct, but I don't understand why the changing of her temper had anything to do with darkness and brightness of her life. Was her life miserable when she had a bad temper?

Today, I’m going to talk about “THE DECRET GARDEN&quot;, a book I like.

I select this book in this talk because unlike most of the books with Chinese-English version only, it also includes grammatical instructions at the back of the book. Readers can enjoy story itself, as well as improving their reading skills.

This story is about Mary, a girl born in India.
She was spoilt and rude with poor temper control, as she was neglected by her working parents most of the time.

When Mary was nine, her parents died by a disease spreading in her country.
As she has no more carer, she was later sent to live with her uncle in England.

In England , Mary was lonely . One day , she discovered a secret garden in a remote farmstead. Since then, she was fond of the nature, and she tried to decorate the garden. Later, Mary found that her the sorrow and pain from the bereavement could be cured by the magic of nature . Her life got positive changes.

I am happy that Mary has changed from a poor-tempered person to a kind person gradually. This also changed her life from the darkness to the brightness.

This is really good book . I would recommend this book to my friends .Thank you .
