(x+6) / 3y = 2/3 --- [1]
x / (y-1) = 1 --- [2]
From [2] x = y-1
Sub into [1] (y-1+6)/3y = 2/3
3 (y+5) = 2*3y
3y + 15 = 6y
y = 5
Therefore, x = 4
The fraction is 4/5.
