在美國可以用香港的手機嗎???

if your 手提電話 3頻 GSM800/900/1900 you only can use T-Mobile, because T-mobile us GSM1900

if you have 4頻 GSM800/850/900/1900, you can use T-mobile or Cingular. Because Cingular use GSM 850

they also have Verizon use CDMA and Sprint use PCS. this 2 company cannot use your own phone. SIM card is build in,
use which company is very depent on which city you stay. T-mobile or Cingular in CA is ok. In New York you have to have Verizon. I tried T-moble in NY, I almost kill myself.
If u come to US for over 1 year you don't have to bring your phone. they will give you a free phone when you sign one or two years AGREEMENT. but have to have a good credit. I understand HK 既手提電話 have more choice.

I mean 唔可以用 3G because not avliveable yet. you still can use you phone without vedio phone funtion.T-mobile is ok in CA, my friend told me litter bit weak inside SF city litimed because building. SJ is fine.

只要你帶果部電話係三頻就可以架喇..
美國好似香港咁, 有prepaid card同上台... prepaid卡呢, 如果你買貴d果隻卡, 每一分鐘扣既錢通常都會平d.. 但係有效期通常都係得30日.. 30日之後你要recharge架喇..

ya you can use it, but you have to buy a new sim card
