答案應該是C 吧所有生物生存的目的都是想繁衍下一代
有d 昆蟲一變成蟲連野都唔食~
交配完就死了~
其目的就是想有下一代的出現
繼續將物種的基因一直一直的傳下去..
所以~
不是A呀~ 牛與牛不會生羊嘛
不是B~ Reproduction不是令生物更長命~
不是D~ 如果Reproduction 無作用(只會交配而交配?)為何要maintain 呢

I think it should be C, is that the answer from your book? I think it is so wrong, as organism has the ability to reproduce when it is born. Well.... better check more books

The purpose of reproduction is to balance the ecosystem (my bk)
點解個答案係Ｄ我都唔係好明，可能係因為好像你學一樣野，後來你唔學又唔practise,生疏了,咪等於冇學.
而唔係Ｃ就sure , 我覺得a-c都不對...
