you`d look nice in a medium blonde with natural looking highlights. if you must get a perm, i suggest thermal straightening cos straight hair is better than wavy hair. for one it`s because straight hair is easier to manage than wavy hair. plus side swept bangs look perfect on straight hair. btw, i read that if you want believable highlights, go for up to five different shades of color. well good luck!

Ok, I'm kind of the same. I'm a natural Dark Blonde with a square face and pointy chin-but with the wrong hairstyle, my face looks very round. #1, no bangs. Bangs should be at least to your chin. #2 You should not perm your hair and dye it at the same time. It will be too much damage and your hair will break off very easily and not look good. I chose dying. I use Ultress Light Beige Blonde. I also got extensions. Expensive, but worth it. I got the clip in kind. As they grow out, I go back and hairdresser unclips them and pulls them back up to the root. With extensions, you can actually buy three different colors of hair. One to suit your natural color, one darker and one lighter. Then, she puts them in and you have a "weave". Your hair plus highlights and lowlights. Then you only have to dye the roots. This looks fabulous and I've had lots of compliments.

I determined my style by looking in magazines. Many like cosmo, vogue and others have hair suggestions. You can also look online. Search for hairstyles. Find a celebrity who has a similar shape face to yours and then go for that cut. My face is similar to Drew Barrymore or Brittany Spears. It's kind of a cross between her and that lady who starred in the old tv series Bewitched. The thing about the extensions is it adds volume to your hair. I get the wavy ones. Not curly, not straight. I can go either way. You need a flat Iron and a three inch curling iron.

It's a lot of work, but if your face is kind of round, you need to elongate your face by lifting the hair off your forhead. I do this with the flat iron. Blow it dry, then peice by piece I hold up a length, spray it with hairspray, then blow it dry and/or use the flat iron on the root holding it straight up. Thats how they celebrity stylists do it. I only know that because I get my headshots don e in LA and they did it on me! So I paid attention so I could do it to myself later. That's how Jennifer Anniston's hair looks poofy on top. You have to hold it up, spray it and then flat iron it up. All over the crown of your head. Then when you are finished, use your fingers to tousle it out. Don't brush it out. This will give your hair lift on top. It also lasts a couple of days. You just touch it up every day. Oh, and before you do all that, try putting Fructis XXL Root Booster on your roots. Do that after you wash your hair and before you blowdry it. Then style. It adds volume to the root.

Volume is what you need to make your face look longer. A spiral perm is good too. I use a spiral curling iron all over. That will make your face look chubbier, but sometimes, the hair looks so good it doesn't matter. I found that straight hair or a few layers with big waves is the best to thin out my face. I learned this by looking up hairstyles on the internet and in magazines. Also, I went to The Hair Shop on Wilshire Boulevard in LA and tried on several wigs with different hairstyles and colors. This is very effective. It's a dollar for a hair net, but you can try on all different colors and styles. Wereever you live, see if there is a wig shop around and go try on a lot of different lengths and colors before you change your hair.

I hope this information helps you!

Okay first why get a perm if you are wanting a thermal straightening? Two go dark like a level 4 w/a little lighter then carmel hi lites, just on top a few weaved and a few sliced thin.
A side back not too short and long layers.

I'd suggest you get your hair thermally straightened, but keep your natural hair color. If you don't want to keep your natural hair color, choose a lighter hair color and mix that with your natural hair color (i.e. if your natural hair color is dark brown, go with light brown). ...just a suggestion.

i would go for the wavey hair.... it will bring out your face and the cute cheeks.... only go with highlights if thats what you definately want... they will be there for a while.... maybe bangs but im not really partial to them....
