✔ 最佳答案
answer is A
ester undergoes alkaline hydrolysis to give alcohol and salt. If the ester u mention is an oil (i.e. a triester), glycerol (propan-1,2,3-triol) and soap will be formed.
B is not correct because what we need is an alkaline medium but not Na+ ions. KOH can achieve similar results.
C is not correct. ester do not easily hydrolyse in H2O
D is not correct. Alkalis neutralize the acid rather than "stablizing" it.

i'm gordonlai88. Actually what i mean is that hydrolysis needs alkaline medium but not Na+ ions. E.g. u can use KOH to do this, but u cannot use Na2SO4 to do the hydrolysis !!!
