2) 傳真: 將報名表及信用咭資料傳真致馬來西亞 TOEFL亞太區報名中心 (傳真:60-3-7628-3366) (iBT 可能不接受傳真報名)

3) 郵寄: 最少在應考前三星期，將報名表及信用咭資料郵寄至馬來西亞報名中心(PO box 12964, 50794 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)登記，以便作出適當的安排。

簡介

托福考試（Test of English As a Foreign Language TOEFL）主要是為赴美、加升學；非以英語為母語的學生，評核其英語能力的國際認可考試。此考試是由Educational Testing Service (ETS)提供及頒發資格


考試形式

自2000年10月起，在港進行的托福試已全面以電腦試（Computer-Based Test， CBT）的形式進行。CBT考試共分四部份，包括：

‧ 聆聽理解（Listening Comprehension）
‧ 文法結構（Structure & Written Expression）
‧ 閱讀理解（Reading Comprehension）
‧ 寫作能力（Test of Written English， TWE）

而於2006年4月，在港進行的托福試將採用網上試（Internet-based Test，iBT），而屆時CBT亦會同時被取消。

iBT的新考試內容：
．將取消Structure Section，而與文法相關的問題將會於各測驗部分中出現
．引入新的Speaking Section，當中包括獨立及綜合測試
．在Reading section中將加入資料分類及填表或撮要等測試
．Writing section將改成打字形式。


考試內容

‧ 考試將於新蒲崗香港考試及評核局的TOEFL考試中心內舉行
‧ 聆聽理解、文法結構及閱讀理解均為選擇題
‧ 四卷合共之最高總分為300分
‧ 一般大學入學要求分數為213 - 250 分
‧ 寫作能力(Test of Written English， TWE)一卷中，考生必須撰寫短文一篇(可選擇以書寫方式或以電腦作答)

考生須直接向TOEFL的馬來西亞報名中心報名，但報名表可在香港考評局灣仔及新蒲崗辦事處索取或網上www.ets.org/toefl下載。
考生可透過以下途徑報名：

‧ 電話：603-7628-3333 (須於應考日期之三個工作天前報名)
‧ 傳真：603-7628-3366 (須於應考日期之七個工作天前報名)
‧ 郵寄：Prometric PO Box 12964， 50794 Kuala Lumpur， Malaysia. (須於應考日期之三星期前遞交報名)
