所以interest = 1600 * 10% * 2 = $320
2年後結餘=1600+320-800=$1120
如果問題是compound interest compounded yearly, 你的答案$1136才是對的。
Compound interest = principal * (1+interest rate) ^ time - principal

this should be 1600 ( 1+0.1*2)-800=1120

You are wrong because the duration (2 years) should be multiplying the interest rate NOT (1+interest rate). The correct calculation is:
1600 X (1 + 0.1 X 2) - 800
Principle X (1 + Rate X Duration) = Total principle plus interest in simple interest terms
