the ratio of their investments:
$25000:$50000:$75000
=1:2:3
A receives:
$54000*1/(1+2+3)
=54000*1/6
=$9000
B receives:
$54000*2/(1+2+3)
=54000*2/6
=54000*1/3
=$18000
C receives:
$54000*3/(1+2+3)
=54000*3/6
=54000*1/2
=$27000
$25000:$50000:$75000
=1:2:3

$54000*1/(1+2+3)
=54000*1/6
=$9000
B receives:
$54000*2/(1+2+3)
=54000*2/6
=54000*1/3
=$18000
C receives:
$54000*3/(1+2+3)
