CFA and HKSI paper 1,7,8/9?

If I am consider to work in finance field, which is more important? CFA and HKSI paper 1,7,8/9? Can I register the examination of CFA if I am a year2 student in hong kong? Where can I get the study material of CFA, and is the study material 溫習手冊 in hksi website is enough to get a pass? Thanks!!!

It depends on which sub-field you are working in finance. CFA is more on the Research analyst side and the HKSI 1,7,8,9 is more on the dealer/trading side.

For the CFA, you need to at least a degree holder in order to register for the exam. You could go to http://www.cfainstitute.org/ for more information.

If you wanna get the study material, you could buy from the "Schweser" for the notes or the books from the CFA institute. This is one of the course provider for the CFA exam. Of course, you could have other way to get it too.

For the study material in HKSI website, I'm not very familiar with it, hope that other people could help to answer this.
