我地而家就學緊Force
不過我學到好亂
佢話:The weight of an object is the force of gravity pulling it towards the Earth. We can use a spring balance to measure weight. Since weight is a force, it is measured in newtons.
跟住佢話仲有樣野叫做mass
佢仲話:The mass of an object is the amount of matter in it. Mass is measured in kilograms (kg) or grams (g). As the amount of matter in an object remains the same in all places.
咁我想知要點樣分果樣野係唔係mass
個unit係用newton定kg

weight 中文係重量,但唔同我地平時度既重量~
我地平時度野既重量係講幾多磅幾多公斤....我地係講錯既~
我地只係講緊佢既質量~

weight既單位係N(newton),代表佢係一種力~
佢係有方向性既,即係我地平時拎起d野~
佢聚手...係因為佢會比你一個向下既力~
即係重量係一個永遠向地下既力...我地平時覺得一樣野有重量~
係因為重量係一個力~我地覺得佢有幾大力壓住,就有幾重啦~
但質量mass又係咩黎呢?一樣野愈大mass,就0係同一情況下可以有愈大既重量,
但mass係無方向性既..單位係kg...係我地平時話一樣野有幾多kg就係話緊佢既mass~
即係我地可以話重量既力係向下,但mass唔會話佢向邊~佢亦都唔係力
mass唔會隨住重力改變...一樣野既mass永遠都係咁~
但重量就會隨地心吸力改變~冇地心吸力就冇重量~
我用0係太空無重狀態做例子~假設有個mass係1kg既物件0係度~
我地0係呢個情況係話個物件個weight係 0 N,但個mass仍然係1kg~
平時我地用磅磅野其實只係度緊weight,不過因為0係地球上,weight同mass係約10倍關係~
同埋正比,所以我地可以直接用磅度到之後正接就話到個mass你聽~
可能你會覺得mass係幾抽象,
你可以諗做一個物件....mass就大慨係量度緊atom數量多少既一樣野~
(事實上不同物質有不同數量的atoms,我只係用atom比喻緊擁有既mass多少~
物理學上亦不是這樣定義mass)
佢有咁多粒atoms,
佢上到太空...d atom數量都唔會變~
正如佢有咁多mass,去到邊佢都係有咁多mass~

我諗你只要有mass同weight不同既concept0係個腦入面~
知道兩者既關係~見到佢講緊乜既時候~睇番個單位就分到~

Mass 係質量,質量的國際標準基準單位是 Kg(千克)。一樣物品係任何地方既質量都係一樣 。
重量是物體受萬有引力作用後力的度量,重量和質量不同。在地球引力下, 重量和質量是等值的, 但是度量單位不同。質量為1千克的物質受到外力1牛頓時所產生的重量稱為1千克重。

In the life, we usually use a unit called weight to measure someone's weight. However, in Physics, we use weight to measure the force acting from earth on someone, while mass of someone means someone's weight in life.
For instance, a man is 60kg. In life, we will say he weights 60kg. Howver, we will say he weights 600N or his mass is 60kg in Physics. In Physics question paper, you can determine what you should answer by watching the unit of the question is kg/N

Sorry for English, I cannot type chinese ,and I will use simple English.
I asked the same question to my teacher...

On the space, your weight is zero, but it doesn't mean you have no mass.
Mass is telling us how much matter do you have.
Weight is telling us how much force does the Earth(or other planet) exert on you.

物體的重量是地球施加在該物體的重力.地球施加在物體的重力愈大,該物體便愈重.由於重量also是力的一種,我們可以利用彈簧秤來量度它的大小,而重量的單位和力的單位是newton.
物體的質量=該物體有含有how many 物質,單位是千克和克.物體無論在任何place,它本身的物質also一樣的,因此它的質量是不會change的.

重量是施加在物體上的重力.這施加在物體的重力會因物體所在的place而有所不同.例如物體在月球的重量會較地球上小,這是由於月球對物體所施加的重力比地球所施加的小.

一樣野的mass是永遠不會改變的.
而weight會隨著gravity而改變的.
Eg: 我的mass=60kg 在地球的weight=600N 因為地球的gravity=10
在月球, 我的mass=60kg , weight=100N 因為月球的gravity=10/6
要記住e條式

F=ma

F=force
m=mass
a=acceleration

weight 係力...個unit用newton...一樣物品係唔同地方(地球..月球..火星,,,)既weight都係唔一樣...
Mass 係重量...個unit用kg...一樣物品係任何地方既mass都係一樣
