In Korea there are many models and brands for electronic dictionary. e.g. Casio, Sharp, Iriver, Nurian etc.
Simple Korean/Englsih+ Englsih/Korean e-dict is around HK$1000. But if you are willing to pay for HK$1600 you may buy e-dict with K/Eng, Eng/K, K/Jp, Jp/K, Chi/K, K/Chi, mp3, recording, radio etc. l think it's worthwile to pay that HK$600 more.
Casio is a little bit expensive.
My friend and l use Sharp and there is contact problem when you use the dict quit frequently (have to press the letter key several times when input words).
Friends using Nurian (Korean brand) said it's quit good.
And new model keeps coming up during the year. There is not much use for u to check which model is better because it will be outdated soon. You may not see the same new product after l year.
Therefore, set the budget and ask your friend who go to Korea to buy it for you. Dont go to YongSan as you dont know which shop is good and some salemen cheated foreigners. e.g. after you bought a e-dict of lower price, you found that you have to pay for more in order to get the memory card. So, be careful!
Go to E-Mart. Most area has this chain shop. Price a little bit higher but it's lower than department stores. This might be a better choice for foreigers.
