depends on which post you want... like IT, operations, finance (i.e. the better name of accounting) is easy to get in, but you may risk the possibility you cannot transfer to other departments...
I worked in planning department in one of the company above after I graduated but left 6 months later... since the skills is not transferable...
For front-line post... yes, they prefer top US or UK graduates... native English speaker... 1st honor... outstanding ECA (e.g. gaining awards for schools in international competition or being president of a countrywide club)... BUT these years, those with exceptional language skills, knowing 4 to 5 languages can also get in...
If you possess the MOST of the qualities above... perhaps not having a US or UK degree... or knowing 4 to 5 languages... you can still work in any reputational firm... BUT NOT BACK-OFFICE... after gaining the missing qualities and relevant experience, it is easier to get back... BUT those years are harsh... very harsh... as what I am doing...
