1.Why do we use HELIUM balloon ??
pressure inside the balloon >>> pressure outside the balloon,
the balloon will explode into many pieces
pressure outside the balloon ↓ as altitude ↑
and pressure inside the balloon remains unchanged
hence, finally, the pressure inside the balloon will be larger than pressure outside the balloon ,so the plastic extends
up to a level that the plastic break
Which is so called the elastic limit of the plastic of the balloon

2.Why don't we use HYDROGEN balloon ??
This is because hydrogen is the lighest gas in the world
Its density is lower than air
So if a balloon filled with hydrogen it will go up in air
But hydrogen is quite explosive and flammable thus we do not
usually use it

Why don't we use HYDROGEN balloon ??

It is because hydrogen is more flammable than helium!!
Long time ago,people use hydrogon to fill in a airship.
When the airship goes up to about 10,000 foot,the hydrogen
was gone out and the visitor smoke!
So, it light up the hydrgon ,then it is explosion,all the people
dead!

We use helium to fill the ballon is because it is lighter than air. In the Periodic table helium has a atomic mass of 2 which means it is really light and it is lighter than air because air is a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide and a few more type of gas.

2.Why don't we use HYDROGEN balloon ??
We don't use hydrogen balloon is becasue it is very dangerous. although hydrogen is very easy to get but it is a very reactive element because in its atomic shell, there is no electron, which means it could react with air and all sort of stuff. it could explode
