1.Why do we use HELIUM balloon ??
pressure inside the balloon >>> pressure outside the balloon,
the balloon will explode into many pieces
pressure outside the balloon ↓ as altitude ↑
and pressure inside the balloon remains unchanged
hence, finally, the pressure inside the balloon will be larger than pressure outside the balloon ,so the plastic extends
up to a level that the plastic break
Which is so called the elastic limit of the plastic of the balloon
2.Why don't we use HYDROGEN balloon ??
This is because hydrogen is the lighest gas in the world
Its density is lower than air
So if a balloon filled with hydrogen it will go up in air
But hydrogen is quite explosive and flammable thus we do not
usually use it
