I guess you are asking how many broker firms in HOngkong.As at the end of 2006, there are 486 authorized insurance broker companies in Hongkong. You can visit the following link for further info.
If the IFA is holding an insurance agent license, he is not an IFA then as he cannot provide an indepentant advise to you.
