Application for Discretionary Places

1. Application forms of Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section) will be available at Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section), 5 Ho Tung Road, Kowloon from 1/12/2006 (Friday) to 29/1/2007 (Monday) (Monday to Friday: 9: 00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Saturday: 9: 00 a.m. – 11: 00 a.m.).

3. The completed application forms must be returned together with the EMB copy of Application Form 【by parents】 to our school office from 28/12/2006 (Thursday) to 29/1/2007 (Monday) (Monday to Friday: 9: 00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Saturday: 9: 00 a.m. – 11: 00 a.m.).

4. Please submit the following documents with your application form:
4.1 A copy each of your Primary 4 and 5 Final Academic Reports and your Primary 6 Midyear Academic Report*;
4.2 Copies of the following *:
i. awards (internal and external) received in Primary 4, 5 & 6;
ii. certificates of courses attended in Primary 4, 5 & 6;
* originals must be produced upon request
4.3 One stamped self-addressed envelope;
4.4 One stamped envelope bearing the name and address of your present primary school.

5. Applicants will attend the interview in February/March 2007.

6. No written tests will be given to applicants.

7. Successful candidates will be notified by the EMB in July 2007.

Admission to Forms 2 and 3

Application forms can be obtained from the school office or downloaded from our school website from 13 February 2006 to 28 April 2006.

The completed application forms and other supporting documents must be handed in by parents to our school office on or before 28 April 2006 (Friday) (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
