(1)The weight of C is 4 kg,
then the weight of A and B is 12-4=8 kg
The weight of A=8x2/(2+3)
=16/5=3.2 kg
The weight of B=8x3/(2+3)
=24/5=4.8 kg

Let the length of the front cover be x cm, then the width of it is (119-2x)/2 cm
x:[(119-2x)/2]=10:7
7x=5(119-2x)
7x=595-10x
17x=595
x=35
