An appliance plugged into a certain socket has operated for a period of time. Suppose the corresponding circuit breaker in the consumer unit jumps to the "OFF" position suddenly. What would you do?

1. plug off all the appliances from the socket
2. on the circuit breaker again, if still trip, that mean it is something wrong on the circuit breaker, you must call the electican to fix it
3. if the circuit breaker normal, you can plug in all the appliances and on it one by one
4. if the same thing happen when u plug in the same appliance, it confirm short circuit occure in the appliance, dont use it again
5. if you know some simply checking, you can use multitester or by eye to check the electric wire, always got short circuit near the plug or the appliance, if u dont know how to check it, better call electrican to check up for u.
