Should I get my ear pierced?

You know... Even if you weren't discerning ministry in your future... I don't really think they are in style. I'm a broad, and I don't think it's sexy or cute, or sweet. It will grow back, but there will always be a little scare there (I say this because 10 years ago, when I was your age, I tatooed myself... no one can see it if I'm careful, but... these things don't disappear, and I wouldn't get another one).

As for the ministry.... If you are going through a process that involves Bishops and committees and systems of approval and that sort of thing - why not give it a good 40 days to think about it. Even so, I think that your spiritual journey is more important... but whenever people are involved, you may get some automatic predjudice because of it, and you really just want them to see the true you, the one that follows his Lord.

well it does not hurt at all,my ears are peirced at 2 places
but the thing is ,sometimes it just DOESNOT look good in a guy

I was the same way about getting an earring, I went back & forth until my girlfriend finally convinced me to get one. After few months, I really thought the earring looked cool so I went ahead & pierced my right ear. Now I have a silver hoop in both ears. It doesn't hurt, but it does take a while to get used having it in your ear.

it doesnt hurt... and its completely up to you if you feel comfortable with it and doing it thats all that matters

it pinches and is sore for a few weeks, but gets better each day. my boyfriend is training to be a pastor, and i really don't think that his earring that he's had since he was 7 is going to hurt his 'rep'. i think that if you want to do it, go for it. you can always take it out, i think it'll be cool! go for it :) good luck!

please dont get your ears pierced thats something i hate to see a man do no matter how cute it makes you. ear piercing is a girl thing and i would appreciate it if guys let it remain that way

Dosen`t hurt at all , You can at least experience once.even if you have to take it off cause of the religion i understand where you coming from but if i was you i try it to experiment than take it off because i know u wanna be a ministry that's more very important than a piercing...Good Luck

it feels like someone pinched your ear...doesn't hurt. And no you shouldn't...it looks really stupid on guys.
