either 同 too 有咩分別?

either 其實都有四個常見用法

用法一: (連接詞 conjunction) 解 兩者中之一 既意思. (不會有第三者) 通常會後面跟住有 or

例: It happens either this morning or last night.
這件事一係今朝發生, 一係就琴晚發生.

重點係, 這件事唔可能向第三個時候發生, 所以要加either.

另外一題, 上幾個答案有錯誤. either 只可以配 or.唔可以配 nor. 配 nor 既要用 neither.

用法二: (代名詞, pronoun) 解 以上兩者

例: Both Red and Blue MTR line stop at Central. Either will take you to Central.
依度 either 代表左 之前提及既兩條線

用法三: (形容詞, adjective) 解 其中之一

例: You may sit at either end of the table. (你可以坐枱既是但一邊.)
依度, either 形容緊 end of the table. 即係依張枱 只有兩個 end.

用法四: (助語詞/副詞, adverb) 解 也
上述答案有 錯誤!!!!
Either 向依度 係可以 用作負面架!!!

例: I don't like Peter. Jane doesn't like Peter either.

同 too 最大最大最大既分別 係, either 通常都係 第二樣, 或第二個. 而 too 係冇數字上既限制.

例:
A說 : Who wants Pizza?
B說 : Me.
C說 : Me either.
第三個答既人 用either就會怪怪地.
D說 : Me, too.


另外一提既係. too 亦可以解作 - 太過 (例: too dark - 太黑), either 係完全唔可以咁解架!

兩字的解釋相近，分別在"使用"和"表達"時的需要，最好以例子說明：

A: "My client wants wooden table and ceramic tableware. Would you please introduce me some manufacturers? "
B: "Certainly, ABC factory produces either product. "

這裏 B 正介紹ABC工廠給 A ，讓知道該廠"不論"木制桌子"或"陶瓷餐具都可生產出來，可以用了"either "。

A: "My client wants wooden table, would you please introduce me some manufacturers? "
B: "Certainly, ABC factory can do it."
A: "My client wants ceramic tableware also."
B: "No problem, ABC factory produces ceramic tableware, too."

這裏 B 要說是 ABC 工廠"也 " ( 而且)生產其他的，所以使用"too " 便更簡單和適合。

Either, or 只可述正面的事或物。如：I like either apple or orange. 負面的表達不適用。而Too就兩者均可使用。如 Mary does not like Maths and Peter does not like Maths too.

too係平時用ge eg..today,i eat a apple TOO....
either係否定句先用.... eg...i do not like eat egg either.

應該係....
