While French is conservative, Chinese is more conservative

From the perspective on masculine and feminine, Chinese believe that men are more powerful, especially who are elder. They are eligible to dictate the whole family such as children's marriage. In somehow, Chinese think that female's main duty is looking after children; they are not supposed to be educated and knowledgeable. On the other hand, male's duty is working to earn a living for his family.
French also think that male's position is higher than female's. Nevertheless, they concern gentleman demeanour more comparatively. They often care for ladies' feeling and let them be the first. Besides, they pay attention on etiquette between man and woman. Therefore, French is more willing to listen and accept opinions from family members than Chinese does. Relationship is more harmonized. Yet, Chinese become open-minded. They see sexual equality as important as Westerns do nowadays.

Therefore, French is more willing to listen to the suggestions in a family than Chiness does, the relationship is better. However, Chinese is encouraging everyone is equal which is the same as foreign countries, the mantality becomes more open now.
