使用電腦會當機或自動重開機或自動關機的原因很多例如:
不要急, 我建議你依下列步驟Check :

1.) 但好大機會係火牛唔夠力, 即電源供應器不足瓦 建議有廠牌的,
修過幾台狀況都是如此,剛遇到還會重灌換東西什麼的,
電源供應器power最好不要用內建的 因為一般都不足瓦 建議買大廠牌的: 350W以上, 現在再遇到第一件就是拿一顆POWER換掉來測看看
是不是POWER的問題, 不過這類問題通常換power一半以上都能解決,
(亦可能是電源供應器power老化或故障)

2.) 若是當機除了中毒和硬碟壞軌以外 就屬軟硬體相衝或軟體間相衝甚至是硬體間相衝最有可能
如熄機之前突然慢左好多或有window彈出黎, 咁既情況多係中左毒
可以download d防毒soft ware清左d病毒就ok啦
電腦中毒 到安全模式下掃毒會比較乾淨 (而家有好多病毒都會咁的，不定時重新開機)
E.g. 疾風病毒...你要去微軟更新唷!就可以避免這個病毒了
解決方法：
1. 用防毒軟件掃除。
2. 格式化(有部分電腦是說初期化)已中毒的檔案。
(但並不建議初期化病毒，因為有機會連重要的資料都DETELE。)
3. 重新安裝WINDOWS。
(問題係所有資料會DETELE，所以在做前要將全部上一次安裝WINDOWS後，後期加入的資料做備份。)
*注：備份時必須用CD-ROM，不要用磁碟片，還有要留意檔案是否有病毒，有就不要備份那個檔案。如果冇燒碟機的話，只好眼白白向著自己部機的資料默哀。

3.) 軟硬體相衝或軟體間相衝甚至是硬體間相衝

4) IRQ共用衝突 DMA衝突和I/O衝突(到裝置管理員那裡看看 有沒有警示符號 例如:驚嘆號或問號等)

5.) 記憶體不足或混插以及壞掉(混插會照成系統不穩當機及藍底白字畫面)
解決方法：
1. 好簡單，增加電腦的記憶體。
2. 加張遊戲ram卡在主機裏。
*一般電腦在記憶體嚴重不足時會自動重新開機，這是為了有足夠記憶體去運作電腦。
(例如長期使用電腦，就會令記憶體過度消耗，記憶體數值降至0時就會自動重新開機。)
*如果係普通打機用的電腦，記憶體最好有512~768MB已經足夠。
係打機打到發神經，玩到大開殺戒、四處火海，用1~2GB(1024~2048MB)吧。
亦有部分人會為了打機而加張專儲存遊戲資料的記憶卡，不過唔平的。
仲有加記憶體晶片最好去黃金問人配邊種記憶卡先啱。

6.) 看會不會CPU過熱 或 顯示卡過熱 加顆風扇吧, 風扇多塵 或加顆風扇吧 (之前有發生過，CPU風扇沒裝好導致每開機沒多久就斷電)

7.) 風扇轉速太慢或壞了而導致主機散熱不良 主機拆開看看吧

8.) CPU到期, 引致主機版(底版)自動斷電

9.)主機內卡太多灰塵了
E.g. 你的電腦是否曾加裝記憶體或換過顯示卡? 有的話請把新的拔掉插上原本舊的看看 因為你的硬體可能已經相衝了

10.) RESET開關損壞 開關彈性減弱或機殼上的按鈕按下去不易彈起時 以及開關線距離過近照成短路(已致於稍微震動到或碰到主機就自動重開機)

11.) 硬碟空間接近飽和

12.) 電源供應器插主機板的那條排線沒插好或電源線沒插好

13.) 記憶體或顯示卡沒插好或鬆掉

14.) 再唔係就係某個程式檔案毀損 / 光碟損壞 / 硬碟有實質壞軌 / 其他硬體壞了

15.) 最後就係或者顯示卡和記憶體金手指處有氧化現象 把他們都拔起來用橡皮擦在金手指處擦一擦 再插上去試試看

16.) 軟體移除不乾淨的後遺症

17.) 我唯一破過一個例外就是"鍵盤"
有一個按鍵可能秀逗吧,只要一按那個鍵就關機,
換個鍵盤就好了,真被它打敗了
*另外,雖然是有辦法不令電腦自動重新開機，不過不建議你咁做，因為會損壞電腦的主程式。
不令電腦自動重新開機方法：
right tick我的電腦 ---> 內容 ---> 進階 ---> 按啟動及修復中的選項—「設定」
---> 在系統失敗一欄中，修改為不選擇「自動重新開機」
這樣電腦便不會自動重新開機了。

in your case, there are a lot of posibility. so cant really list out all of them and tell you which is which. as you have mentioned that your pc would reboot by itself, would you like to tell us more detail about that? like does it reboot while it was loading in the windows logo, before loading into the windows logo, or before it loads into the windows. before this happened, did you install any hardware or software? what you have done in the previous day? did you do any majoy changes?

since it can be booted into the saft mode, it means the kernel of windows is fine. as long as the 3rd party software doesnt started up, the windows wouldnt reboot itself. so you might want to eliminate the programs one by one that would started up itself by erasing them from the started up list, try to find out which is the one that is caursing problem. in this case, i assume your pc is not being infected. you have to be ware that your antivirus is not function well. this step might sound simple, but this is the process that takes time the most. while doing that, record the start up program list or make a backup of them, just in case you have made mistakes. search the list in the program called ( regedit.exe ). once you have found the program, erease it from the regedit and uninstall it.

plus you might want to do the file backup while you still can get into windows. unfortunately, if you dont have any backup media, and you dont feel like formatting the pc, you mgiht consider of repare the window. microsoft has included this function in the xp cd. but it has to be a xp sp2 disk. boot into it, and select to repair windows xp. the process will be like installing a windows expect it wouldnt remove any software you have installed. if this doesnt help you either, then backup your files, formatting is your only option.

one more thing, some major hardware could cause this kind of problem too, such as harddisk, cpu, and ram. but it will be a pain in the ass to search for the broken parts. so deal with the software first, then the hardware if it s necessary.
