新年 ( 中 and English ) 10 pls~

Chinese New Year is traditional festival for Asian countries that Chinese are aware of. The origin of Chinese New Year is because of a animal, it always come to attack the people which everyone are afriad of it. After that, people use firework to get rid of this animal, then they celebrate this and named Chinese New Year.

Nowadays, people are still celebrating Chines New Year, people will wear new clothes in red colour to visit their relatives, the married couples will give the red pocket money to children for the meaning of lucky. They will stick the couplet on the wall for decoration as well. There is lion show but usually for the bigger organization to celebrate.

Traditionally, there are some food specially being eaten during Chinese New Year, such as turnip cake, red and black seeds etc.

新年是亞洲的傳統節目,所有中國人都特別重視的。它的起源是由於有隻怪獸,叫年獸,經常到處襲擊,人人都怕了它。之後有人用爆竹來驅趕它,之後大家一起慶祝,至此,呢日就叫新年。

現今,人們還繼續慶祝新年這個傳統節日,他們都會著紅色的新衫去拜年,結了婚的長輩會派利是給小朋友,象徵好運,大吉大利的。還有,他們會貼揮春去佈置的。一些大型機構還會有舞獅活動去慶祝的。
