Are HTM and HTML have difference?
Both HTM and HTML are HTML document (Microsoft FrontPage document), so they do not have difference. The HTML codes in them also have no difference.
HTM began to appear in computers earlier than HTML. And the styles of them are same. HTML is just let us to have one more choosing.
Now most people use HTM for the HTML documents, because the Microsoft FrontPage uses HTM as default document, the people do not change it so the pages in web are *.HTML is less than *.HTM.

If I created a HTML document, can I change it from *.HTM into *.HTML?
Of couse you can do it. But you need to change the URLs in other pages after changing the subtitle name.
If you done a page, as you save it, just type [the file name.HTML] (Because the default name is *.HTM).
As you upload in Yahoo! Geocities, you find that a check box which is [Change*.htm into *.html], you can tick it and it will automatically change the HTM files into HTML files.
