What are the errors occurs in a titration experiment, and what we need to do in order to improve the accuracy of the result (experiment)?

Here I list some possible errors and their corresponding improvements:

1) Error in reading the volume - either you look at the meniscus at a too high or low level affects the accuracy of the measurement of volume (especially when using the burette). Try read the scale when your eye and the meniscus is at the same horizontal level.

2) Detection of colour change - there's an reaction time error between seeing the change and stopping the burette from running. Try to watch as carefully as you can.

3) Burette not washed properly - if you haven't washed the burette properly with the fluid that it is to contain, other substances may affect the accuracy of your results. Always wash it with water then the solution it is to hold.

4) Also note that you have a horizontal burette. Otherwise there'll be an error when reading the scale.
