If 2x^(2m-3n+2) + 3y^(1/4m-2n+6)=7 is a linear equation in two unknowns x and y, find the values of m and n.
linear equation means ax+by+c=0
So the index of x and y are 1
2m-3n+2=1...(1)
(1/4)m-2n+6=1...(2)
from (2) m=4(2n-5)
sub into (1)
8(2n-5)-3n+2=1
16n-40-3n+2=1
13n=39
n=3
m=4(2n-5)=4

2x^(2m-3n+2) + 3y^(1/4m-2n+6)=7轉換可得2x^(2m-3n+2) + 3y^(1/4m-2n+6)-7=0你對番ax+by+c=0 來看 c 就等於-7所以我們不用理個7﹐因為他已經滿足了linear equation 的條件反而次方數個到要是1即2m-3n+2=1,1/4m-2n+6=1
