This is my own suggestion:
1. 從新宿乘"小田急浪漫特快"去箱根湯本 (85 min);
2. 從箱根湯本乘"箱根登山電車"到強羅站 (40 min);
3. 從強羅乘"箱根登山纜車"到早雲山車站 (9 min);
4. 從早雲山車站乘"箱根空中纜車"到大涌谷 (10 min);
5. 從大涌谷車站乘"箱根空中纜車"到桃源台站 (20 min);
6. 從桃源台站乘"箱根海賊觀光船"到箱根町遊蘆之湖 (40 min);
7. 從箱根町乘"箱根登山巴士"到湯河原 (20 min)
Total travelling time is less than 4 hours, however, please note that the above travelling time does not include any waiting time, spending time in 大涌谷 (about 30 min), lunch and time spent in touring in each location.

KK's answer is right.Just get the information that 箱根空中纜車 can only go to 到大涌谷;It will take longer by bus from 大涌谷 to 桃源台;You may need 5 hours for travelling.Therefore, I suggest you start your journey earlier.
