If 4 g of nitrogen gas contain y molecules, how many molecules are present in 64 g of oxygen gas?
given that the relative atomic masses: N = 14.0 , O = 16.0

A. Y
B. 7Y
C. 14Y
D. 21Y

For 4g of nitrogen,
moles of molecules = 4/(14 * 2) = 1/7 mol
So, y = 1/7
For 64g of oxygen,
moles of molecules = 64/(16 * 2) = 2 mol = 14 * 1/7 = 14Y

The answer is C
