Nitrogen Dioxide NO2
Sulfur Dioxide SO2
Sulfur Tioxide SO3

NO2 + OH -> HNO3 (nitric acid)
SO2 + OH -> HOSO2
HOSO2 + O2 -> HO2 + SO3
SO3 + H2O -> H2SO4 (sulfuric acid)

effects of acid rain:
increase the acidity of soil, affect the chemical balance of lakes, streams and forests...
which kills plants and fish, lead to damage to ecosystem
