carbonate 係一個ion ，而ion 入面係又carobn & oxygen 組成ge molecules carbonate chemical formula > CO3 2- 1C 3O 2-
因為佢係一個ion 所以帶charge
acid & alkali 唔係flammable 只係corrosive irritant
H2C03 係 一個molecular bonding hydrogen caronate 碳酸氫鹽

H2CO3 即係碳酸，即係汽水入面o既酸性物質。
另外，雨水都含有少量 H2CO3 溶於其中，因為呢個化合物其實係由 carbon dioxide + water 反應得出。
空氣中o既 CO2 溶於水中，令雨水變成碳酸，於是會帶少許酸性，pH 只得 5.5。
