The marked priceof a chocolate bar is ＄10.If you pay ＄1 more,you can get one more chocolate bar > What is the discount percent when buying twe chocolate bar ?
if no discount, then you need $20 to buy two chocolate bar
now you use $11 only
the discount percent
=(11-20)/20*100%
=-9/20*100%
=-45%
the discount percent is 45%

照下面的說法﹐差價一定是正數不過0甘樣做題目不覺得煩嗎例如計盈利率/虧蝕率﹐你一定要計完新價﹐再比較新價與舊價去決定那個在前﹐那個在後。

計算便宜了的折扣率的算式︰( 差價 / 舊的價值 ) * 100%

新的價值︰$10＋$1= $11
舊的價值︰$10＋$10=$20
差價︰ $20 －$11=$9

故答案是 ( 9 / 20 )*100% = 45%
即便宜了 45%. (或店舖所說的 五五折 )

註一︰
舊的價錢 － 新的價錢 ＝ (正數)差價 ＝ 便宜了
舊的價錢 － 新的價錢 ＝ (負數)差價 ＝ 賣貴了
