Smoking doesn’t harm the smokers themselves only, it also harms the people around them. Because of some parents like smoking, their children become passive smokers. Health care for children exposed to passive smoking already cost $33 million. Also, many workers like those who work in restaurants, karaoke establishments and pubs were constrained to smoke because many people in where they work smoke. So, they become passive smokers, too. 19% of the total deaths due to tobacco were caused by passive smoking. People have to use more money to recover from illness due to smoking.
Smoking can pollute the air and damage our bodies. Children cannot grow healthily and happily if their parents smoke. I also can see many people smoke in the restaurants and streets. I hate the smoke very much because it so smelly. There are so much hazards of smoking but no benefits, why should the people still smoke? Many people died because of smoking. No smoking, please. I hope that nobody will smoke in Hong Kong. Please encourage your family, friends, or relatives to quit smoking. Let us create a smoke-free Hong Kong.
