受詞英文叫 object，即接受動作既果個人或物。

例如： I am eating an apple.
apple 在這句中接受 eat 呢個動作，所以 apple 享呢度就係受詞。

例如： He is telling her a story.
這裡的 her 同埋 story 都在接受 tell 呢個動作，所以兩者都係受詞。
