A rhombus with diagonals ( lines joining opposite angles ) of 12 cm and 20 cm is cut into 4 equal triangles. What is the area of one triangle ??

since the diagonals of a rhomus perpendicularly disect each other (according to its properties), then the height and base of one triangle will be 12/2=6 and 20/2=10. Sub 6 and 10 the formula of the area of the triangle: (height x base)/2 = 6x10/2 = 30unit square
