japanese is more practical in hk, but just in hk and japanfrench is useful in europe and also in canada
learning a language in which you are not interested at all is very very difficult
so i sugegst you to choose basing on your interest
french is a quite logical language
japanese is more difficult and many things are illogical and must be studied by heart

仲有,香港既日本公司多過法國公司好多.

I think 法文& 日文 also good for finding job, but just look at what job does you choose.
e.g. your job is need to communicate with japanese then learn japanese.
