大家好,我時常也攪不清題述三個字的用法,請幫忙解說。

另,如果我想說 "擔心 (某事)",是以下哪個說法呢?

1) i worry about ...
2) i am worry about ...
3) i am worried about ...
4) i am worrying about ...

謝謝!

2) i am worry about ... --> plain wrong as "worry" is only a verb or a noun.

1) i worry about ...
3) i am worried about ...
4) i am worrying about ...

All the above three are correct with subtle difference.

1) you "actively" worry something
3) your worry (as a noun) is caused by an object
4) describing a state of your feeling

Consider and compare the difference in follows then you will see:

1) I walk.
3) I am walked to the door by my boss.
4) I am walking.

1. "Worry" is a verb in simple present tense
2. "worried" can be a verb in past simple tense, or an adjective
3. "worring" in your example is a verb in present continuous tense.

Let me illustrate using some examples
1. " I worry about the exam". The focus is on how you think in your mind. You are very anxious about the exam.

2. "I am worrying about my career path" The focus is on the action you are performing , that is "worry".

3. "I am worried about the exam". The word "worried" here is an adjective describing your feeling. Or we can say "The exam makes me worried"

4. We don't have "I am worry ..."
