Step by step, check the following:
1. Check that your subwoofer is an active subwoofer, that is, it comes with its own amplifier in it. If no, then you have a problem because a passive subwoofer will require the amplifier to push it.
2. Check the amplifier setting. Set the subwoofer in the amplifier setting "Yes".
3. Check the frequency setting for the subwoofer in the amplifier according to the specificataion of your sub-woofer. If the subwoofer can produce freqency from to 120Hz, set the same in the amplifier.
4. Connect to low level input L/R from the subwoofer to the amplifier by a subwoofer cable (one to two RCA cable).
5. Check if you have switched on the subwoofer.
6. Check the volume of the sub-woofer if you have turned it so low.
7. Check also the frequency of your sub-woofer if you have set it very low so that only very very deep bass will be produced by it.
