I guess your question is xy^(1/4) devide 4x^(2/3) y^(1/3) devide x^(-1/3) y^(2/5)

xy^(1/4) devide 4x^(2/3) y^(1/3)
=[x^(1- 2/3) y^(1/4 - 1/3)] / 4
=[x^(1/3) y^(-1/12)] / 4
=[x^(1/3)] / [4y^(1/12)]

[x^(1/3) / (4y^(1/12)] devide x^(-1/3) y^(2/5)
= [x^(1/3) / [4y^(1/12)] multiply 1/ [x^(-1/3) y^(2/5)]
= [x^(1/3)] / [4x^(-1/3) y^(1/12 + 2/5)]
= {x^[1/3-(-1/3)]} / [4y^(29/60)]
= [x^(2/3)] / [4y^(29/60)]

#注意

1) 負指數
e.g
y^-2 = 1 / y^2
2^-2 = 1 / 2^2 = 1/4

2) 除
a / b divide c / d = a / b multiply d / c
1/2 divide 3/4 = 1/2 multiply 4/3 = 2/3
