=√32

the diagonal of rectangle PGRS
=√(52+32)
=√(25+9)
=√34
=5.83(corr. to 3 sig. fig.)
so sq. ABCD has a shorter diagonal
their difference
=√34-√32
=0.174(corr. to 3 sig. fig.)
the area of the lawn
=√(62-32) x 3 x (1/2)
=5.20x 3 x (1/2) (corr. to 3 sig. fig.)
=8.00 (corr. to 3 sig. fig.)

第2條應係 the area of the lawn=√(6^2-3^2) x '6' x (1/2)因為個底係6所以答案係16.

diagonal解對角線。

呢2題都係要用PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM來計GA
1.搵斜邊既式係..斜邊^2=直邊^2+橫邊^2
即係話 正方形既斜邊係 開方32
長方形既斜邊係 開方34
2.由於搵TRIANGLE的AREA要知佢既高度
咁佢既高度就係 開方27勒 AREA 就係(開方27 X 6 )/2 M 勒
