Korea is a country which encourage citizen to use credit card often, because the goverment don't want the shop fake on the tax. Actually they ask every shop the product over 5 US dollar, they must accept card payment, otherwise the shop is prohibited to the law.

And about the restaurant, its depends on which skate restore...but normally the charge is higher than the normal restaurant about 10-15%.
