Japan is now a powerful [nation/country], it has [an enormous/a great/an immense] influence upon the world.
(In my opinion,) Japanese leadership is outstanding, despite the unchangeble history of invading China, which is undeniable to all.
However, Japan has yet to face the truth of such invasion (of China). This behaviour is a negligence of history, and the Prime Minister of Japan should be responsible for it. He, as the head of Japan, is unable neither to confess in the first place, nor to provide his people the truth of their savageness during The Second World War. It is nothing but a disappointment.
Since the history is the record of the past, we should respect it without shame. The studies of historical events allow us to contemplate the present with more understandings.
We can learn from the successes and failures in history; we can avoide the repeats of the downfalls, and make wiser decisions for now and the future.
Japan should understand that there is no shame to admit any dispicable past, and should only focus on the future, since Japan is able to push forward the development of the whole (South-East) Asia.
