Inductor

主要有兩個用途:
1) 在 dc circuit 中:

在這個 case, inductor 的作用為一個電流緩衝, 事關當電路接通時, 若果 inductor is absent, 其電流會在極短時間內升至 E/R 的最終值, 形成很大的電流變率. 這對電器會構成一定的損害. 而公式則如下:

2) 在 ac circuit 中:
可作為過濾器 (filter), 因為只要其 inductance 值夠大, inductor 會 take all ac component of a voltage because of its high reactance towards ac but almost zero resistance to dc, 而將 dc 剩下比 resistor, 使 output 為一個純 dc 的 voltage. 其構造為一個 resistor and 一個 inductor in series.

改善係個phase different ( leading or lagging)
