Violin: G3-E7
Cello: C2-A5
Flute: C4-D7
Clarinet(in A): C#3-A6
Trumpet(in C): F3-C6

for pitch, i think i have included above.

for their timbre, it's difficult to describe...i can only tell:
violin and cello are strings, they seem more expressive in slur...
flute and clarinet are woodwinds, their sounds are brighter (maybe because of their higher pitch)...
trumpet is a brass, it has a loudest sound among the above...
