Are there any modal verbs are use for showing preference?
Can you please kindly give me some introducion and examples of the modal verbs?

I don't wanna copy stuff from online. But there're many links you can refer to by doing a search on Google.

For preference, I'm not sure what you mean. "Would " is a modal verb. You can use it in a question to ask for preference, for example

Would you like it cold or warm?
Would you prefer juice or water?
