我想學打鼓~~要咩條件同幾錢到ga??

There is not much music theory you need to learn. However, your rhythm and beat counting are important. If you can feel the beat quickly, it takes you less time to catch up the lesson. Otherwise, you spend a little more time to equip yourself.

Learning drums in class is cheaper but the standard and the progress of the lectures may not be as good as private lectures. Usually, it costs you about $ 500 - 700 for class and about $800 - 1300 for private lecture. In addition, you have to calculate the money for renting practice room after your lessons. The cost of renting a drum room is about $ 35 - 70 per hour. It also depends on the quality and enthusiasm of the drum instructor who can make you understand the technique and give you encouragement to continue. Of course, your practice is necessary.

When I started learning drums, I have no music foundation at all. Nevertheless, I find it very interesting to take up. My first drum instructor is a top one drummer in Hong Kong but he is not enthusiasm in teaching me. I am discouraged and quit the training for a short period. Afterwards, I find another drum instructor who is patient and willing to give out his technique. I continue my learning till now and wish to have further development in this field. Therefore, a good teacher who is willing to share his/her knowledge is the key point. You can practise his/her personal knacks with great progress. Otherwise, you may find that your progress is very slow or you cannot match with the music. Thus, you may find it boring and drop it in the end.

不過你要另外租房練習，都係幾百蚊左右一個月
都算平架喇，如果跟私人學一定唔止呢個價錢
如果有興趣咪學下囉，唔使要識好多樂理，如果真係有須要，到時個老師都會教你啦
不過就唔好三分鐘熱度，始終你要擺多D時間落去先可以打得好的

no..u don't need to know anything about music theory
all u need is a 'heart'....because to be a good drummer...u need to put a lot time into it
do many many practices.....
