I used to teach at Kumon, it is really just doing extra homework. They make you repeat lessons and exercises until you get them all correct. There's a tutor which will read with u and correct your homework if it is wrong. If you think it is worth it, than go for it, but as will all things you have to put in effort in order to gain the maximum knowledge you can!
