It seems that you need some qualifications in the areas of Architecture / Building / Surveying. When you look at the entrance requirements for the BA (Hons) degree programme in Architectural Studies at HKU, no other requirements are specified in addition to those of the university entrance requirements. Mathematics is usually required at HKCEE level only (except courses with "Engineering" titles). Hence, students with arts backgrounds may also apply.
However, since competition for entry into programmes in Architecture and Surveying at HKU and CUHK is keen, I suggest that you can try applying to a programme offered by a newer institution or a related programme at a more foundamental level first. Some of my suggestions are as follows:
1. City University of HK
==================
- ASc in Architectural Studies
- BSc(Hons) Surveying
- ASc in Surveying
2. HK Polytechnic University
======================
- HD in Building Technology and Management
- BSc (Hons) Surveying
3. Chu Hai College of Higher Education
=============================
- BSc (Hons) in Architecture
- BArch (Hons) Architecture
In my opinion, the ASc Architectural Studies programme at CityU and the BSc(Hons) / BArch(Hons) programmes in Architecture at Chu Hai seem to fit your current situation better. Please do not overlook the courses offered by Chu Hai as they are now fully accredited by HKCAA and the admission requirements are more general in nature (i. AA degree; OR ii. Higher Diploma; OR iii. 5 HKCEE passes + AS Chi + AS Eng + 1 AL or 2 AS). [
