Is learning with the computer better than learning with books? In my opinion, it is a truth(the truth is what? that you AGREE that learning with computers is a better way than learning with books? if so change it to this: "I believe that learning with the aid of a computer is a better method than learning from books").

Long time ago(It makes more sense if you said "Before the invention of computer/ Before computers were used as a study aid),

Students need to buy or borrow a large number of books from library to study something they want.
(your tense needs revising "Students NEEDED to buy or borrow a large numbers of books from THE library in order to study what they desired)

But nowadays students only need to set up a computer and connect it to net on their home to enjoy the studying time. (DON'T start a sentence with BUT... it is very bad english. "However, in today's world students need only to have a computer and internet connection with which they can enjoy studying at home/at their own leisure.)

Many people may argue that computer is an entertaining(entertainment) facility (and that) learning is (just) a pretext for playing games and chatting with others (Other - without the 's)lazy student(s).

In my view, only the people who are ignorant to computer would say that.
(In my view, it is only those who do not use/own/operate/have knowledge of a computer who would have such opinions)

It is not only because I use computer to learn knowledge always, but also I know the computer can make me more convenient as long as I use it in right way. (I disagree because I have always used computers to gain knowledge as well as I also know that computers are a more convienient way to learn.)

If you (are)learning with computer(s). You will find that you are no longer worried about your bookshelf not (having) enough area(space) because you have not to buy many books what you may read once only or a few times. (you did not need to purchase many books which you may only read once or a few times)

Because many data including something you want to read, you can read it on the computer. (Due to the fact that many data including information that you wish to read, you may do so on a computer)

If so, you even can save this money from buying reference book. (Thus you'll be able to save money which you would have otherwise spent on purchasing reference books)

Moreover, on the computer, it is much more interesting than on the book. (More over, on a computer, the infomation is presented in a much more interactive and interesting way than in a book.)

There are not only fresh colors, but sounds and music. (There are not only bright colours but also sound effects, music and animation.)

Some soft even can detect and correct your homework. ( Some software can even detect errors in your homework and correct them for you.)

From this, it is clear that learning with computer(s) is (a) better (option)that learning with books.

Books can not be destroyed though use the computer has many advantages. (However, books should not be destroyed even though the computer has many advantages over it.)

The internet in where is many wrong data in it. Books are still essential. (This is because there are many wrong or false information on the internet therefore books are still very essential to learning)
